Christiana on the Lake |
Rarely
is there an opportunity for riverfront living as presented by this 78 acre tract
that fronts on the main channel of the beautiful Tennessee River.
Christiana by the Lake
®,
only a 20 minute drive from West Knoxville, Tennessee, and one of its premier
shopping areas
at Turkey Creek, is easily accessible to and from I-75, the main interstate
corridor that runs from the Canadian border to South Florida.
Christiana by the Lake will
offer lots for single unit residential owners and builders with design
restrictions that will uphold the highest building standards to preserve the
aesthetic quality of the development and protect the project’s market value.
Annexed
into the City of Loudon, Tennessee, at the owner’s request,
Christiana by the Lake receives municipal fire, police and utility services.
A Loudon fire station, less than two miles from the site, provides quick
response to fire alarms, and regular police patrol in the area secures the
homeowner’s and their property.
In
addition to single unit lots in the development, Christiana by the Lake will
offer single level attached housing and mid-rise condominiums to be located on
the highest point of the property overlooking the Tennessee River.
These high end condos will be marketed in the range of $300-$400
thousand. (See
the pictures of a similar condo development in the East Tennessee area below.)
A
marina is planned that will provide nearly 100 slips.
Boating,
fishing and other water sports are a stone’s throw away from Christiana by the Lake on the Watts Bar Lake of the Tennessee River, or for the more ambitions,
take the Tennessee River southwesterly all the way to the Gulf of Mexico.
Convenient
to Knoxville medical facilities, Christiana by the Lake
offers the privacy of riverfront, rural living but
convenience to a metropolitan area with five major, regional hospitals,
including University of Tennessee
Medical Center (a teaching hospital), Fort Sanders Regional
Hospital and Fort Sanders West,
Baptist Hospital and St.
Mary's Hospital.
Specialty treatment for the region is offered by Baptist Hospital for
Women at Turkey Creek, Children’s Hospital,
Patricia Neal Rehabilitation Center, and Thompson Cancer Center at
Fort
Sanders Regional Hospital in Knoxville.
Fort
Loudoun Medical Center, part of the Covenant Health Care System, with an
emergency room and a physician’s plaza, is open in Lenoir
City, only a ten
minute drive north on I-75 from Christiana by the Lake.
Knoxville and close by Oak Ridge offer other attractions, including South Eastern Conference University of Tennessee Athletics, the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra, the Knoxville Opera, the Knoxville Museum of Art and the American Museum of Science and Energy in Oak Ridge, the “Secret City” and integral part of the Manhattan Project in World War II. The most visited national park in the United States, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, is only a 90 minute drive from Christiana by the Lake. White water rafting abounds in the area. Two hours east is Asheville, North Carolina, home of Biltmore Estate, a huge castle residence built by a Vanderbilt, and two hours to the west is Nashville, Tennessee, the state’s capital city and home of the NFL’s Tennessee Titans.
