MEADOWVIEW
ASSISTED LIVING FACILITY
FOR
THE BETHEL
COMMUNITY
ANDERSON
COUNTY, TENNESSEE
Construction
of a 32 bed assisted living facility was completed in October 2009 and the
facility received its first residents in November 2009.
Meadowview
Assisted Living Facility, located in Anderson County on Highway 61 at Nagaf
Road, is licensed by the Tennessee Department of Health and serves persons who
are ambulatory but need assistance in their daily living tasks.
The facility is managed by Senior Living Partners, LLC, a multi-state
management company that presently has 13 facilities under management.
The
small size of Meadowview is purposely designed to provide a program directed
toward the individual needs of the residents.
Our program is designed to encourage residents to demonstrate as much
independence as they are capable of, but our staff will be charged with offering
a helping hand when needed.
“Nutritional
and East Tennessee meals will be provided, as close to home cooking as
possible”, stated Gene Rudesill, developer of the facility, in an interview by
a local newspaper.
Reminders for taking medication will also be an important part of the Meadowview
program.
Transportation to the doctor’s office will be provided where necessary,
and of course, a recreational program, including outings to community offerings,
will be important to the life of Meadowview residents.
Monthly
rental rates are competitive in the community.
Often, families of loved ones in their retiring years fail to place an
adequate dollar value on the convenience and the caring environment of an
assisted living program. In reality, that value may be far beyond the dollars
spent for the assisted living rental rate.
Meadowview
has achieved a remarkable 100% occupancy in its first year of operation.

These
are some of the events that may be avoided by a person giving up their
housekeeping and living in a well managed assisted living facility:
Heavy house cleaning or finding someone to take on that job on a
regular basis.
Missing nutritional meals, especially difficult to prepare for one
person.
Forgetting to take medication, or taking too much medication, and
forgetting doctor’s appointments and finding a ride to the doctor’s office
if family members are not able to attend to this because if their work or other
schedule conflicts.
Yard work, or
maintenance on the house.
Doing Laundry and trips to the grocery store and drug store.
Paying bills, such as utility bills, property taxes, and so forth.
